With sunny forecast, a great bunch of students and fine accommodation, the Year 8 trip was destined for success.
The camp was expertly hosted by Ted and the team at MiCamp. For many the highlight was the activities like kayaking, abseiling and mountain biking. The 48 students enjoyed a birthday party, a memorable bus ride, and some delectable cooking from the camp chef.
Teacher-in-charge, Tarryn Rose wanted to thank the amazing crew of 14 parents who came along. They were continually positive and encouraging. The highlight for Mrs Rose, however was how God seemed to prepare the way for camp. From perfect weather, to the camp theme of loving your neighbour, it all seemed beautifully orchestrated.
