Year 4-6 Disco for World Vision

Almost 70 Year 4-6 students danced, spun and jumped at our annual Junior Disco. A portion of each ticket going to the school’s World Vision  fund. Glow sticks, coloured lights and coloured drinks inspired the energetic dancing. Secondary Social Committee students ran the event, interspersing songs with games, and dance battles, to keep the children cheering.

“They played all my favourite songs” reported one dance goer, who especially liked The Monkey Dance. “It was so fun”, said Eli. “I got to do my breakdancing moves in the dance circle”.

Baking sales to parents at the door contributed to the World Vision fundraising activities.  Teacher in charge, Mrs W wanted to thank the volunteer hours of the student social committee.
