Book Week Invigorates Imagination

Mr Henderson even got a minion hair cut for his book parade costume.

Book week was a memorable and fun event for Cornerstone this year.

The book fair hosted by Scholastic and Manna, was popular, with plenty of exciting items purchased. There were guests reading to classes occasionally in costume, reading competitions, library decorations and of course the book dress-up parade. Geronimo the mouse made a special appearance and won the mascot race.

Congratulations to Nicky, Noah and Noah who all won book vouchers in the diorama competition.

Assistant Principal Raeleen Simpson was delighted with all the costumes at the book parade. She wanted to “thank all the parent volunteers and parent supporters who bought books”. And thanks to everybody for getting involved in the love of learning and reading.
